Clay Pigeon Shooting in Devon

Set in 250 acres of breathtaking Devon countryside, Canonteign Estate and neighbouring estates are the perfect location to experience the thrill and excitement of clay pigeon shooting.

Events and lessons are tailored to clients' requirements and designed to provide a variety of challenges for beginners and enthusiasts, individuals and groups. One of the safest sports in the country, clay pigeon shooting in Devon is perfect for a group of friends, corporate hospitality days, stag weekends or wedding a reception - pre-alcohol only of course!

Clay pigeon shooting can be enjoyed all year round in the mild climate of Devon, and as well as pigeon we can simulate, pheasant, partridge, rising teal, high birds, low birds, right to left, left to right, incoming and outgoing, depending on the terrain.

Safety is of utmost importance and you will be accompanied by one of our extremely experienced instructors who will ensure you have a fabulous day out with us here in the heart of the Teign Valley. We are also able to arrange accommodation and catering where required for all of our events.

Experienced Shooters (minimum party of 8)

Experienced shooters should provide their own legally held gun with fibre wad ammunition only. We recommend around 500 rounds per gun, and extra ammunition is available for purchase on the day if required. Please allow 4 - 5 hours to shoot around 2000 targets on 4 stands and lunch.

Novice Shoots (minimum party of 6)

No experience is necessary and our extremely experienced instructors will provide individual coaching for the novice shooter. Please allow 2 hours per session and we will provide a gun, ammunition, eye and ear protectors.
